What is a Win the Tip! Member Event?

A Win the Tip! Member Event is a member only event that provides an opportunity for coaches to learn, share, and help shape the game we love.  With a limit on the number of attendees, members describe a more comfortable environment where they can learn from everyone in the group.  Coaches at a member event enhance their basketball knowledge, leadership skills, and expand their network.  Special presenters enlighten and inspire members with their experiences in basketball and the coaching profession.  Coaches that attend an event may lead discussion sessions on an area of expertise or diagram X’s and O’s with another coach on a topic of similar interest.  Attending a Win the Tip! Member Event is more than X’s and O’s.  It will energize you about the profession and give you new motivation for the upcoming season.  Join your fellow members and attend a Win the Tip! Basketball Member Event and be proud to serve the profession, while influencing with integrity.

Win the Tip! Coaching Summit

A member event, held in conjunction with another general event.  Examples include the NAIA DI Basketball Tournament in Kansas City and Best of the West Clinic in Seattle, WA.  The format for a “Coaching Summit” will include:

1. Meet n’ Greet segment
2. Presenter Segment
3. Open Discussion Segment

The length of the three segments may vary depending on the number of members involved.

 

Win the Tip! Coaching Retreat

A member event, that is conducted by itself and is hosted by a current member.  Examples include the 2003 and 2004 Ottawa Retreats.  The format for a “Coaching Retreat,” will include:

1. Meet n’ Greet Segment
2. Presenter Segment
3. Open Discussion Segment
4. A limit on the number of attendees

 

Win the Tip! Meet n’ Greet

A member event, which provides an opportunity for members to meet fellow members.  A “Meet n’ Greet” may or may not include a presenter segment or open discussion segment.
