Supplementary Benefits

• Member Recognition - updates on member accomplishments, movements, and offerings.
• Opportunities to meet, interact, and discuss relevant topics (i.e. basketball, leadership, coaching, recruiting, etc.) with other quality professionals (via email or retreats).
• Opportunities to serve the profession by serving on the board of directors or committee
• Interact with other coaches at a more personal level than is common in most clinic situations.

• Membership Requirements
  
  All members are expected to represent Win the Tip! the coaching profession, their institution, team, community, and the game of basketball with the utmost character and integrity.
  
  To maintain membership in the Win the Tip! Basketball Coaches Network you must meet ONE of the following requirements every 12-month period between June 1st and May 31st of any given year. If you become a member after December 1st you have a 6-month grace period and your yearly membership requirements would begin in 6 months or on June 1st.
  
  * Attend a Win the Tip! Member Event (includes- Retreats, Summits, and Meet n’ Greets)
  * Contribute a drill, play, or leadership tip for the Win the Tip! Weeklies.
  * Provide a minimum contribution of $25.00 to the Win the Tip! Organization.
  * Advertise member services in the annual newsletter (“Opening Tip”)
  * Serve on a Win the Tip! Committee.
  * Vote in an all-membership voting opportunity.
  * Provide a special service to the organization or assist in the funding of a member event.
  * Any member who has served or is currently serving on the Win the Tip! Board of Directors has no yearly membership requirements.
  * Any member designated as an Honorary Member by the Board of Directors will have no yearly requirements.
  
  Membership requirements will begin June 1, 2005.
  
  How to Become a Member
  
  Membership into the Win the Tip! Basketball Coaches Network is by invitation only. To be nominated for membership into the Win the Tip! Basketball Coaches Network you must meet one of the following requirements.
  
  * Nominated by a current member who has been a member for no less than one year from their membership date.
  * Nominated by a current or past member of the Board of Directors.
  * Nominated by a current member who has attended a Win the Tip! member event and does not meet the one year membership requirement.
  * Nominated by a current member who is serving on a Win the Tip! committee and does not meet the one year membership requirement.
