Andy Hill- The new Assistant Men’s Basketball Coach at the University of Montana. Coach Hill was formerly the Director of Basketball Operations at Eastern Washington University. Bill Agronin - Recently signed a four-year contract extension to continue as the Head Women’s Basketball Coach at Niagara University through the 2007-08 season. “He’s a good coach and a wonderful role model. He shows the strength of character for our student-athletes,” said Rev. Joseph L. Levesque Tyler Podoll- The new Head Boy’s Basketball Coach at Messmer High School in Milwaukee, WI. Leadership Tip! In his book Coaching the Mental Game H.A. Dorfman states, “Whether good or bad, everything a coach says or does becomes a message that the athletes receive, interpret, and respond to mentally. They too may never forget. Does the message make sense? Is it honest? Is it rational or emotional? Is it consistent with what’s been said before? Is the meaning clear? This leadership development program targets student-athletes, coaches, and athletic administrators and sets the standard for leadership excellence in collegiate athletics. Coach Janssen upcoming presentation schedule includes stops in Nebraska, New York, Alabama, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, and North Carolina. Basketball Coaches Network is excited to announce it’s first Board of Directors. The seven member appointed board includes: Brad Barbarick (Head Men’s Basketball Coach at Concordia University, OR), Jon Will (Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach at Drake University), Brian Sudis (Assistant Men’s Basketball Coach at Avila University, MO), Jeff Willms (Assistant Men’s Basketball Coach at Fort Hays State University, KS), Mike Cole (Head Boy’s Basketball Coach at Bozeman High School, MT), Aaron Christian (Associate Executive Director of Win the Tip!, WA), Pete Van Mullem (Executive Director of Win the Tip! and Assistant Men’s Basketball Coach at Ottawa University, KS). The Win the Tip! Board of Directors will begin their duties August 1, 2004. The Board will serve the Win the Tip! Network and be instrumental in developing the Win the Tip! Basketball Coaches Network into a Non-Profit Organization.
